Charles Schwab - Add Account failed error message

Options

I have tried to link my Charles Schwab Accounts (Schwab took over TD accounts). I have logged in and authenticated via Quicken / Charles Schawb and I get the following error message.

Note, I have turned off my anti virus and cleared the cashe / history on my internet browser.

    Hello @Quick Steve,

To troubleshoot this issue, I would recommend pausing or temporarily disabling browser extensions/add-ons. Sometimes they interfere with the authorization process and cause the issue you are seeing. Once you have done that, test to see if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists after that, I would recommend temporarily setting a different default browser. That can resolve the issue if the issue being caused by the browser or by browser settings.

    I hope this helps!

What happens when you directly log into the Schwab online website - with your User ID / password ?
Is there any 2FA enabled ?
Does it work - can you see your TD accounts ?

which name are you using for the Add Account ?
