Download actual payee name instead of "Paypal"
Currently Paypal transactions are downloaded with Paypal as the payee. Instead, I suggest that the actual payee name be downloaded into the account associated with the transaction. If this is not possible, then I suggest that the name of the payee is shown in the memo line.

Thank you for sharing your idea! Is this happening with PayPal or with PayPal Credit, MasterCard and Crypto? When I test downloading from PayPal, it does display the Payee names.
Have you checked to see if you have renaming rules active? You can check your renaming rules by going to Tools>Renaming Rules.
It's possible that you have an overly general rule that is changing the Payee name to PayPal.
