Can't open quicken folders after deleting Microsoft cloud email attachments
A friend deleted his email attachments from his Microsoft cloud account and now can't open quicken files or turbotax files. Is there any way for him to get these back? He deleted them because it was 4.5 GB out of 5 GB on his cloud account now he don't know what to do.

I assume you are referring to Microsoft OneDrive.
If Quicken can't find a recently used data file, you should see an error message and then a blank Quicken screen with a menu bar at the top. You can click on File at the top left of the Quicken screen, and the menu will show the recently used files. If the path name includes "OneDrive", the file was in a directory synced to OneDrive the last time it was opened. Use Windows Explorer to see if the files are still present.
If OneDrive files have been deleted by mistake, you may be able to recover them by clicking on the cloud-shaped OneDrive icon in the System Tray at the bottom right of the screen. Click on the Recycle bin button to look for and restore them.
If the files are still present or after you have restored them, Quicken may still have trouble opening files synched by OneDrive, due to a recent conflict between Quicken and OneDrive. The patch listed in this post by @Quicken Anja appears to fix this problem.
Please let us know what you find.
