can I copy and paste confirmation numbers into Quicken?

Question

All of my online bills provide confirmation numbers once I've made a payment.  I want to be able to highlight, copy and paste those confirmation numbers into the transaction in the memo field.  But it seems I can't copy anything from outside. The numbers are usually long, so this is a bit annoying. Am I missing something? Or is this a feature that could be added?

To use Ctrl+V make sure that you are set to Windows standard, not Quicken standard.

I copy/paste confirmation numbers and other information from my browser, emails, PDF/Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and texts into the Memo field all the time.  The Memo field is limited as far as the number of characters it can hold but for me it can hold most confirmation numbers plus some additional info.  I also copy/paste Payee names into the Payee field.

I generally use Cntrl+C for the copy function and Cntrl+V for the paste function.

What version of Quicken are you using ? I am on Quicken DeLuxe for Windows (Canadian Version)  Release R53.26) and been using the copy and paste for years and it works perfectly in any field.  Personnaly, for that purpose, I use either the MEMO field or the "Reference #" field.
