I am trying to download my historical data for my fidelity 401k account, but i am not getting complete history, why?

    Because, when you initiate a download from within Q, the financial institution (Fidelity in this case) determines how far back that download can go. About 90 days is common.

    Try initiating the download from Fidelity's site. That will usually get you a longer time period.

    Quicken will import whatever Fidelity sends. Quite often financial institutions only provide Quicken users the last 90 days, or in some cases up to a year. I'm not a Fidelity customer, but as an alternative, you could see if you can log into the Fidelity site and download a longer transaction history in Quicken or QFX format; then you can import that QFX file into Quicken.
