bought new security

I bought a new security. It is included in my Accounts down the left side of my Investing tab but the security is not shown In the Portfolio tab (under Investing). How do I add the security to my Portfolio? This security is included in my Security List.

Select the Customize button while on the view in question and the Securities tab, and select the security.

To add on to what @Chris_QPW said: The Customize button is a Gear icon at the top right of the Portfolio view.

You have to BUY shares of it in some Account like your brokerage account. Or set up a new account to hold it.

Well, I'll be. All these years of using Quicken and I never noticed that before! I think I'd just become too accustomed to looking for the Gear icon.
