Removing Bank from the online update

Options

Some how Wells Fargo became the bank for my online update. I have no idea how it got there since I do not bank with Wells Fargo. I have tried numerous times to deactivate so I could remove it and the process never completes and Quicken locks up after a few seconds. I have two accounts like this and am at a loss as to fixing this. I am currently on version R53.32 I tried to upload screen shots and it says it has a permissions issue.

    Hello @Mike166,

To assist with this issue, please provide more information. When did this issue first start? Did the issue coincide with a software update or unexpected program/computer shut down?

Usually, when Quicken locks up, it is caused by a file specific problem. If you haven't done so already, I suggest that you start troubleshooting this issue by validating and/or super validating your data file.  Please save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    Validate:

    1. File
    2. Validate and Repair File...
    3. Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate.

    Super Validate:

    1. File
    2. Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
    3. Super Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

Please let me know how it goes!
