Problems with new report customizing dialog.
Old interface:
New Interface:
Just thought of something, and I now know why this is happening. From the category list with the usage turned on:
The missing categories have zero usage. Bug or not? (I'm not sure)
Beside it missing categories, the fact that the "Type" is missing is a problem too. You no longer can just look at this list and see where the income categories change to expense, to banking, …
Another thing that popped up. With the new customize for reports enabled. Brought up Tax Summary report. Selected last year, and then selected the custom gear icon, and went to the Category tab and selected Clear All.
Selected _401ContribSpouse and Salary Spouse (and it selected the subcategories)
Tax Spouse is shown in the report, even though it isn't shown selected in the customize dialog (and I did clear all after all):
And I can't find a way to turn off Tax Spouse with the new customize report dialog.
I have to go back to the old one and do the same procedure, and then it won't be there even if I switch back to the new interface.

I'm several steps behind on the Quicken version so I haven't seen any of this.
"The missing categories have zero usage. Bug or not? (I'm not sure)"
Bug. Seems like a Catch-22 situation. All Categories and Subcategories should be available.
"Beside it missing categories, the fact that the "Type" is missing is a problem too. "
Agreed, particularly where you've customized reports to include only certain Transfers and exclude others. The missing visual cue of Type is going to make this sort of customization more difficult, particularly if you're working with a long list of Categories.
"Tax Spouse is shown in the report, even though it isn't shown selected in the customize dialog (and I did clear all after all):"
Well-known pattern at Quicken of attempting to change something in the program and screwing up something else in the process. Clearly a work in process.
