Negative expenses should appear as positive

In the attached image, you'll see that a negative expense (in this case, a tax refund) still appears below the $0 line in the graph, suggesting that it's still an expense, when it should be above the line as an income.

Could you look into showing this correctly?

    It's not an income category so it should show under expenses even though it is negative. If you really want it to show as income you should create a Tax Refund "income" category and put the refund there.

    A refund isn't "income" it's a negative expense. When you paid your taxes you expensed the payment, the refund shows that overstated that expense in the first place.

    The only way to get this refund to show "above the line" would be if you created a tax "income" category.

    That looks like the Income/Expense by Category report. In that report, Income Categories are always in the Income section and Expense Categories are always expenses.

    What do you think it should do if there was a tax of $100 in February along with the $25 refund? Switch the Category from Income to expense?

    As @Tom Young said, you could create a separate Income Category for tax refunds if you want.
