Issue has been marked as resolved as of 2/22/24 but not for me. Just tried to add my Macy's card.

Problem still exists for me…

Incorrect login? I have not seen this type of error. Did you try logging in directly on Macy's credit card site (not the store site) to verify you are using the correct credentials?

@Greg Brown You try the steps suggested in this comment:

Actually it was working for awhile and when it stopped I did a reset. Bad move… disconnected and now I can't add back again. I even tried adding it in a "Test" quicken file, same cc-503.

@Greg Brown - On the General tab of Account Details, does it show the correct account number (or at least the correct last 4 numbers of the account number)? Or does it show an incorrect account number?

Actually it showed the correct last 4 digits, but before adding the account again, I deleted the FI and acct info…

MAC Quicken - My Macy's account has been defined and working for years, but no longer syncs.

@Greg Brown - Earlier you said that you had deactivated your Macy's card & deleted the FI information and account number. I am assuming that you are still trying to get the account connection set up, again. Am I correct? If so, are you trying to get it set up again via Add Account or, instead, via Set Up Now?
Also, I am assuming that you also have the Macy's Amex card (same physical card but both Macy's Store card account and Macy's Amex card account). Did you deactivate and delete the FI information and account number from the Amex card account, as well? If not, do that and then try to set up the connection, again.
One other comment: I noticed that you are consistently receiving the same CC-503 error code. This is different from what I used to get which was a different CC-5XX error code each time I tried to fix my Macy's connections. One of the things this CC-503 error code indicates is that there are one or more restricted special characters in the PW. If your PW has any of the restricted characters you might want to change your PW so it does not include them. You can read more about this in the following Support Article:

I have tried using add account as well as setup now.
I only have Macy's AMEX. I had one of the AMEX cards closed due to fraud and recently(2 months ago) received the replacement card.
PW has no restricted characters.

Is that Macy's AMEX card that was closed due to fraud still in Quicken? If so, was that account in Quicken closed or deactivated? Or did you hide it or keep it separate?
It is my understanding that if you have the Macy's AMEX card then by default you also have the Macy's Store card. At least, that is what happened with me when I originally applied for the Macy's AMEX card. There is only 1 physical card (the Macy's AMEX card) but it also serves as the Macy's Store card. Log into your online Macy's account and if my understanding is correct then you should see both cards (with different card numbers) listed there…but that Store Card account number will not be shown on your physical card.
When you then set up your Macy's AMEX card in Quicken it should have automatically prompted you to also add the Macy's Store card as a separate account in Quicken. If you do not remember being prompted for that then you might have done what many people do when adding new accounts to Quicken which is to simply accept the Quicken suggestion without really reviewing it in detail. That would have added the account and you might not have even known that it had happened.
You might want to go to Account List and check the box on the left at the bottom for Show hidden accounts. Then scroll through the list to see if there are any other Macy's cards shown. If you do find other(s), backup your data file and then go to the Online Services tab of Account Details for them and make sure they are also Deactivated, just like you had Deactivated your current Macy's Amex card. Then try to do Add Account or Set Up Now, again.
You could also try adding your Macy's card to a new TEST file, again, to see if anything has changed since your last test.
If all still does not resolve the issue for you, then you might need to contact Quicken Support who can determine if there is something the need to do on there end with their server.

The last time I contacted support, I ended up making a copy of my file(template) and reactivating ALL of my accounts. I avoid contacting support like the plague. They always want you to sign in as a different user, and that ALWAYS results in cc-800s that can't be resolved. I will just deal with this account not connecting to Quicken.

Without knowing what the issue was that caused Support to request you to take those actions it's tough for me to say if that was appropriate or not. Generally the request to make a new file copy(template) is only needed when some file corruption has been identified and this can sometimes resolve the corruption issue but I have seen other posts where taking that path was perhaps not the best or even needed one to take. And, yes, all of the accounts in that new file will need to be activated (not reactivated since they were never activated in that new data file to begin with).
I have never seen signing in as a different user causing the CC-800 error code unless there has been a runtime.dat file corruption. There is a relatively simple fix for that many (including many Support folks) don't know about but it does involve needing to reactivate all the accounts, again.
Ultimately, it is your choice as to what you want to do or not do. If you decide not to take any of the suggested actions then you can manage your Macy's card manually for as long as you want. Or you can wait to see if anyone else offers some different troubleshooting suggestions you might want to try. Maybe you can try to reactivate it, again, from time to time to see if the issue self resolves. Best of wishes to you.

Was getting a FDP-105 error which said that it couldn't connect.
Now Quicken is connecting but I'm getting a FDP-108 which says that Macy's is not allowing me to log in, and to check site, but on the site directly I have no problem logging in.
