Reconcile Issue

last several times I have downloaded transactions from my bank the credit card account reports "no uncleared items to reconcile" in spite of multiple items marked with "c". Thought might resolve with next download but no joy. Any ideas on how to resolve this. Windows Classic Quicken, accounts from Navy Federal Credit Union. the rest of my accounts (checking and savings) reconcile normally.

    This typically happens when you have Accounts set to automatically enter downloaded transactions directly into the Registers.

    Other users have found that

    pressing Ctrl + Shift + E, selecting the Online Services tab, unchecking Reconcile using online balance, selecting OK, and pressing Ctrl + R

    which switches you back to reconciling to a statement has worked.

    tried this and NO JOY. I manually download and reconcile all my accounts for my bank. Tried again after above and still no joy…. all my other accounts reconcile as normal with no issues this only affects my Credit Card account (which is with the same institution as most of the other accounts)

    It does this even though you are typing in the statement balance and date in the reconcile dialog?

    Hey that caught things up…I previously did "Online Services tab, unchecking Reconcile using online balance", so I when through that procedure and did my usual download from the Credit Union and use the bank info….this time followed instructions and entered the statement balance and date after downloading the latest info and it did the "c" to "R" bit….so now if my Normal Routine works the next time…I'm one happy Camper….Thanks

    Wish I knew what caused the issue to start so I could not do that again…But thanks for all your help….call it closed.

    ok tried to go back to Reconciling with the Bank and again would not recognize cleared transactions, this issue only happens on my credit card account, did the manual reconcile as before and that worked with no issue…what is the issue, is there a fix…is this on the list to be addressed by Quicken?? I now know how to get around the problem, but what does it take to return to normal operation….
