lost data

I spent 3 hrs on the phone with Support & they can't figure this out, so thought I'd throw it out to all of you. Both in Quicken search and overall C drive search, I find file folders, but there is NO ACCESSIBLE DATA in any of them. The folders show data (example, 5800 Mb), but when I open the file, there are no transactions. This is true for every Quicken file going back to 2012. In addition, all my saved reports have disappeared. I use OneDrive and iDrive, and the files aren't there either. And no, I didn't accidentally erase them all. The laptop is at my computer repair shop now where they're looking for the data...but does anyone have any bright ideas?
