John Hancock Retirement Account Never Reconciles

Hello, I download my John Hanock Retirement Account QFX Statements into my Quicken for Mac Retirement account, but the balances have never been accurate … like not even close to being accurate. Any wisdom here?

To assist with this issue, please provide more information. Is this a connected account (able to download information from the financial institution when you update your accounts, without needing a QFX file), or is it updated manually (importing QFX files and/or manually entering transactions)?

If importing QFX files is the only way you update the account, then it's possible the issue is being caused by incorrect information in the QFX files. Do you have any duplicate or missing transactions?

If the balances have been wrong since day 1, have you checked to see if there are any placeholder transactions that may be causing the issue? Is the account always off by the same amount?
