Best Buy Credit Card from CitiBank - Error FDP-108
Started to get this error code back in November of 2023 when trying to Connect to the Best Buy Credit Card website to Update and Download Transactions via Quicken or trying to Add the Best Buy Account.
Quicken Support was not able to help and nor was Citibank after several attempts Until I asked them the Correct Questions.
Problem: If when Enter your Signon Credentials via Citibank's Website and your logged in: If you Greeted with a message that they are having Trouble Contacting you via Email & requiring you to Update your Email Address.
If you had been using a johnorjanedoe@me.com email address and re-enter that same address when prompted it will accept it and update your Account Profile and log you into your account. However, the next time you sign-in to the website you will get the same error.
Solution: According to Citibank, they no longer see the @me.com address as being a valid. Change the @me.com to @icloud.com.
You will no longer receive to FDP-108 error in Quicken and you will be able to connect to Citibank and either Add or Update your Best Buy Account & Citibank Website will no longer prompt you to enter an email address.
