Canadian Tire Bank - connection question

does this mean that Quicken cannot automatically connect to canadian tire bank and reconcile the accounts?

Partially correct. CDN Tire only supports downloading the data file (AKA Web Connect) and not connecting directly via Express Web Connect.
I believe you can still set your preferences to autoreconcile when the data file is loaded.
