Reauthorization of Capital One accounts

Quicken continues to say I must reauthorize my Capital One accounts. When I attempt to do that I get an error message saying the "sign in failed due to a connection error". Why is this happening? Obviously I can still log in to my Cap 1 accounts directly with no problems. Please help! Thanks

    Hello @BWC,

Typically, this kind of issue is caused by something blocking communication between Quicken and the financial institution. Please try turning off any pop-up blockers and ad-blockers, since they are the most common culprits. Some anti-virus programs also have a safe banking feature that pulls all banking sessions into a custom browser. If you have an anti-virus that does that, please pause that feature. If the issue still persists, try temporarily changing your default browser.

Please let me know how it goes!
