Break out the "other" expense categories. The 10 limit is ridiculous in this day and age. There should be limitless categories.
Are you talking about what appears on the Dashboard? Because you can create as many categories as you wish.
@ajoy Your profile indicates you are using Quicken Mac; is that correct? As NotACPA says, you can create unlimited categories..Where are you being limited by 10 categories? Is this in the Home > Dashboard "Spending by Category" card, or somewhere else?
@ajoy If it is the Dashboard card you're talking about, there's a way to make it show more categories — 40 or more — if that's what you're after. But I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about until you reply.
