I am experiencing missing alerts in the general Alerts window. I think I noticed this about May 1 or so but figured it would be fixed in an update.

I have Quicken Classic installed locally on a Windows 10 desktop - 64 bit. Quicken Version RS6.9 27.1.56.9

I went to preferences and Reset Quicken Warnings back to factory default but still - in the "Show All" tab in the Alerts window, it is blank even though there is a triangle icon with an exclamation point on the icon for Alerts

    Hello @Steve M,

To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When you say you're experiencing missing alerts, do you mean you are not receiving alerts you should be receiving, or do you mean the window itself is blank? Are you able to see the Setup tab? Is it showing the correct alerts selected there? Are you set up for text alerts or pop up dialogue alerts?

The Reset Quicken Warnings button wouldn't impact that kind of alert. That button is to bring back pop up warnings that you'd previously checked the "Don't show again" box on.

If you have your Credit Score set up in your Quicken, and you have credit monitoring alerts turned on, you can view those by going to Reports>Credit Score>Credit Monitoring Alerts.

I look forward to your reply!

"Are you set up for … pop up dialogue alerts?"

This is the $64 question for me. This also is the only instance in all the help Quicken offers which refers to pop-up dialogue alerts. Is there really such a thing? I would be very, very happy to know this is possible - and how to do it.

I'm not sure your question is about the same Alerts as the original poster's.

    However, to see popup Alerts:

Go to Tools > Alerts Center

Left-click the + (plus sign) to the left of the Alert section of interest, to see the individual Alerts available

Left-click in the box to the right of each Alert you wish to set

Provide the info necessary for the Alert

Where you see "Show me the alert as:" (in the lower section of the dialog), choose "Urgent (pop up dialog box)".

I should have included the entire bottom section - for the info -
I had it as [x] TEXT - and it just shows up in the Tool — Alerts — menu….
so will now see what happens with the [x] Pop Up -

Oh man. 🙄 I allowed myself to be confused, or inattentive, or both. Could be I'm [Removed - Language]. I did as you suggested. Now I'll see if it works for me.

Well - Yesterday I set it up to trigger on some artificial low balances in a checking account.
I then (at some point in time yesterday) received a pop-up detailing the Alert…
I didn't get a screen grab, as I thought I would see it again at some point -

NOPE - have not seen it again since that very first trigger and display yesterday.
Not sure what or how the Alerts work with the pop-up even with the Week/Month setting at the bottom.

SO - I saw it once - and then nothing….. still have it set, and if I ever see it again, will try and get a screen grab.

    EDIT -
Added several just to try and trigger - and got a fish - this was from the generic "Scheduled bills due" [x] selection…
Anyway - this is what it looks like when you start Quicken -

Guessing it does the pop-up ONCE - and then just gets listed in the Alerts Center Menu - Show All -

and a little confused - as to why these are being displayed -
they are all legit and [x] checkmarked in the Alerts Setup - but why with the future "date" as today is 6/6/24 ?

    6/17 - 6/13 - 6/7 -

[EDIT] - well, it appears that Quicken looks at the Ending Balance -
and if there are future Reminders entered that affect the balance, whatever that balance is will trigger the Alert -

    IE - have a $3,000 balance with a MAX trigger set at $5,000 -
the ending balance is currently around $3k -
but with a couple of upcoming Reminder Deposits -the balance will trip at $5k -
and the Alert is actually showing up NOW - 6/9/24 - but Alert dated 6/25/24 -
