CITI connection update
I did the connection update as I was prompted to do by Quicken today. Now the online amount currently due for this billing cycle does not match the current balance in the register even though all of the charges have been downloaded. It is off by the PENDING amount (which will go to the next billing cycle). Both the on-line amount and register amount matched PRIOR to this update today. Very frustrating and now I am afraid to "Fix" any other cards. I have seen my current bill for this cycle and it does match the on-line amount. Register is wrong now.

Hello @dianek,
To assist with this issue, please provide more information. Is the Online Balance reflecting transactions that are still showing pending on the financial institution side, or is it the Current Balance or the Ending Balance reflecting those pending transactions? If it's the latter, then you can turn that off by clicking the hour glass icon and unchecking the "Include in Ending & Current balances when shown" option.

Kristina, thank you for your reply. I turned off the pending transactions. The current balance is not matching the on-line balance (current balance is less the pending). All this happened after "fixing" the connection.

Kristina, I have also reset the Citi account and nothing changes. Current amount in register does not match the on-line amount. Pending amount is off.

Are there any missing or duplicate transactions that explain the difference between the Current Balance and the Online Balance? Do you have any Uncleared transactions in your register? Are any transactions that are still showing as pending on the financial institution side reflecting in your register?

No, I have checked everything. Should I delete the account and then add it again?

Also, I noticed that the credit that was added to my account by Citi did not download today. I can't reconcile the downloaded charges because the balances don't match…. Should I delete the biller (Citi) and add again??

I just reset the account for at least the 3rd time now. Everything matches finally…
