Is there an existing Investment report that shows the account value at the front end of a date range and at the end?

If you're only looking for balances and not the detail of holdings, a Net Worth or Account Balances report, customized to only pull information from the relevant Investment Account(s) will show that information.

Depending on what other information you want to see, you could use these reports under Reports > Investing

• Investing Activity - customize for the account(s) you want to include
• Investment Performance - subtotal by account and show detail

or either of the reports under Reports > Net worth & balances.
