Quicken Passcode & Touch ID Settings for Mobile App
Where do you find the settings for pass code and touch ID in Quicken mobile? Ive just wasted well over an hour and half looking for this. 6 weeks ago I wasted a similar amount of time trying to find it and eventually did find it (not in a logical place but it's there somewhere) but today I simply can't find it. I know it is set on the mobile device and would expect to find it under "settings" tab but that doesn't yield any options let alone one for pass codes. It is a shame that this setting is not enabled by default. It takes more security to get to the so called help community than it does to get to the Quicken data. If the phone is unlocked the Quicken data is wide open, how absurd.

Try clicking on the sandwich icon in the upper
rightleft & selecting "Profile". That's where the Face ID setting is on my phone, so it's where I would expect to find Touch ID as well. I don't know where you set the passcode on mobile.Edit: Verified Touch ID is there on my old iPad.

yup - Hamburger icon upper left —> Profile —> Passcode & Face ID —>
Only has slider for Face ID … no Passcode
BTW - what is "Passcode" ?

yeah … what or where is this “Passcode” -
I searched around and all forum postings were closed without actually answering the question - I’ve tried looking for Help or User Guide but wasn’t able to find anything…
Also - wonder if Quicken Mobile App settings are different between Apple iPhone/ipad vs Android ?

yeah - and guessing the Passcode is more like a PIN to access the app….
but, like we both have found - it doesn't appear to exist -Also - it appears that the Mobile App does not "timeout" once you have logged into it…
it is always accessible as long as your phone is unlocked….. maybe that was the reason behind the Passcode/PIN -0 -
just tried on our iPad - and the Passcode feature is actually there as shown below.
So … iPhone doesn’t show it and iPad does show it - and both have Quicken App 7.1.00 -
iPhone 13 - device Face ID enabled
iPad 10 - device Touch ID is NOT enabled
Both have the usual device “passcode” feature enabled for 6 digits

I was able to get Quicken to give me the passcode option on an iPad with Touch ID only after I deleted all the stored fingerprints so that Touch ID no longer worked; the passcode option replaced the Touch ID option. And once I added a new fingerprint to get Touch ID working again, the passcode option went away & and the Touch ID option came back. So it does seem that passcode is only available when it is the only available option.

Did you get to actually specify your own Quicken Mobile "Passcode" -
or was it just to enable the iPad device Passcode (lockscreen) to be entered after the Quicken Mobile timeout ?0 -
yeah - that's what I guessed when I tried it on our iPad - a basic access & timeout - using the DEVICE passcode -
just like the device itself uses the device Passcode and lockscreen timeout (if setup that way)0
