Cannot connect to OneAmerica
I have been getting "an error occurred" when trying to update my OneAmerica account. The server does not recognize a request from the application. Try again now, or wait and try later.

I deactivated and reactivated the account a few weeks ago and it worked for a while but now I get the same error when I try to activate or update the account again. Suggestions?

Hello @Steve Martin,
To troubleshoot the accounts that are still connected, please start by making sure any VPNs are turned off (since they can sometimes interfere with communication). Try refreshing the accounts by following these steps:
- Click Account Actions (button or gear icon) at the top right of the register.
- Select Update Now.
If the issue persists after following those steps, I recommend contacting the financial institution for further assistance.
For the account you disconnected that is now giving an OL-292 error, since there aren't currently any open alerts for OneAmerica and you mentioned this has been going on for weeks, please follow these steps from this article on OL-292:
Refresh Quicken's financial institution information
- Go to Help > Check for Updates.
- If an update is available, a prompt will appear with the option to install it.
- Click Yes to install the update.
Note: You'll need to exit Quicken to run the update program. When you exit, all of your work is saved, and you can pick up where you left off as soon as the update is complete.
If the issue persists after you've checked for updates (and updated your Quicken if needed), then please contact the financial institution for further assistance.
I hope this helps!

Tried again this morning and everything worked. Didn't do anything, just tried to setup the online update. Maybe all the issues were on their end.

I found out that if you have been using Quicken since Intuit you need to download the new version and let it uninstall the old one and install the correct version. Cleared up all of my problems
