I have a similar issue. Recently installed new Mac version, was using Windows version. Imported QXF file because QDF file failed. Most accounts came over OK, but one has a negative balance. All the transactions (other than deposits and withdrawals) don't affect the cash balance. 'Amount' column shows 0.00 for all transactions.

I don't see any placeholders. There is no Preferences available under Edit.

    Hello @FZrules,

Quicken for Mac doesn't have as many options as Quicken for Windows does, but to find the Quicken for Mac equivalent to the Preferences window, go to the Quicken menu and Select Settings.

For the balance issue, is this happening with an account that you have connected and downloading from the financial institution, or is it currently a manual account and is wrong directly after the import you performed? If the latter is the issue, it may be a conversion issue or bad data in the file you imported. You may want to try re-importing, and if that doesn't work, see if there is a recent QDF file that you are able to successfully convert, and check if that resolves the issue.

    I hope this helps!
