Stock Split Alert Won't Stop

I keep receiving a stock split alert when I do one-step update. No matter what I do to accept or reject it keeps popping up. I have seen the posts that say to just manually edit the split to align with Quicken's download but the problem is that I didn't hold that position during the time of the split, I sold it two years prior. Therefore, I have no entry to adjust or correct. Additionally, the stock split in 2023 and this alert just started appearing in the last two weeks.

Thoughts on how to get it to stop?

What's the stock involved? And what's the split ratio that's being shown?

If you sold the position prior to the split and don't hold it in any other accounts, your share balance should be zero and quotes including split info should stop downloading.

You could try going to the Security List and un-checking the Download Quotes box for that security, then delete the split.

    The stock is AMC.

I would first try the @Jim_Harman approach. If that failed, I would try: buy 10 shares just before the split, accept the split, then delete the buy.

Thank you for the help. I think it’s a Quicken glitch at this point as neither approach worked even though they both made complete sense.

According to AMC's website, a 1 for 10 Reverse split happened on 8/23/23,

SO, what did you hold before the split? Now? What happened in Q?
