Quicken has all my stock information (Symbols/Shares/Purchase Dates/Cost Basis). It would be great if Quicken would import dividend income so that the user could use this in the budgeting section.

Do you mean past dividends or projected future numbers based on your current holdings?

I believe this capability already exists. In the Budget tool, click on Manage Budget Categories > Personal Income > check the box for _DivInc > OK. Does this give you what you are looking for?:

And if you want to project future dividend income in your budget, you can set up Reminders for the expected income. If you have a small number of securities, you could make one for each security, or you could estimate the income for each account. I do this but just for taxable investing accounts.

The Reminders will also feed the Tax Planner, which is very helpful if you use that.
