Password into Q Desktop? Quicken.com? Q Online Portfolio? What?

A password change, that didn't actually happen, usually indicates a corrupted Q data file. So, you'll need to restore from a recent backup.

BUT, since you can't open the current file, you'll need to hold down CTRL & ALT while you start Q. This will cause it to NOT open a data file and present you with just the FILE and HELP menus. You can do a Restore from there … but you'll have lost and need to re-input anything since that backup was created.

I can open files. I just can get to my profile as shown.

I tried to restore to an earlier version that doesn't work either.

I have had this in the past, but I can't exactly remember how I recovered from it.

    This is on this dialog:

Logging out and back in would probably fix this, but since your profile information is messed up, that link is missing….
