CC-800 error with one but not both Bank of America Accounts
One Step Update (Windows Classic) today returned the CC-800 error on a checking account at BofA (all other states), but not a credit card account. There was a transaction downloaded on the credit card account (in addition to no error reported for that account). I had not deleted or deactivated the checking account nor restored a backup since the last successful download from the checking account (but not sure whether there might have been an update of the program, to R57.16, Build 27.1.57.16, since the last successful download). I tried to reactivate downloading from the checking account, and confirmed I had authorized BofA to share data with Quicken on its website. However, Quicken reported that there was one only account, the credit card account, available for downloading information.

Hello @Anon-Russ,
If you've deactivated or deleted an account and then restored a Quicken backup file, you'll receive a CC-800 error. I know that you mentioned attempting some troubleshooting steps, however, I do recommend reviewing this FAQ regarding CC-800 errors. It will provide more information as well as step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).
I hope this helps!

At no point between the last successful download and when the CC-800 appeared did I deactivate or delete an account, or restore a Quicken backup file.
I did read that FAQ. Although I did not meet the conditions, I attempted to follow its instructions. That was when I discovered that Quicken saw only one of my accounts at BoA. The only other info I can add is that the routing number Quicken reports for the account that it does not see is not the BoA routing number on my checks. Maybe bad information in the financial institutions file? Or maybe the "[BoA - All Other States]" routing number is different from the "[BoA]" routing number?

I am getting this same error. I updated my accounts a few times today and I just now did an update and received a CC-800 error. I did not delete or deactivate my accounts. Of my 4 accounts at BofA, 3 credit cards and a checking acct., it told me two of my credit card accounts were deleted or deactivated. What is going on?

Hello @Anon-Russ, @gulf83, and @thangtn,
As per the FAQ that I previously tagged:
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, please reach out to Quicken Support. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!

Resolved with the help of Support. The key for my issue is to first deactivate online services for all of my accounts at the institution, that is, even the one that was still working. Then reactivate online services all of your accounts through Edit/Add Accounts. FYI, "Add Accounts" means just add accounts at the institution you identify, not add a Quicken account. If the "real world" account exists in Quicken, the program will just offer to link the Quicken account with the "real world" account.
