Budgeting transfers (for saving and investment)

I'd love to be able to categorize my transfers from one account to another to add them to my budget.

To clarify your request, are you wanting the ability to assign categories to a transfer, or are you wanting the ability to have transfers reflect in your budget?

If you're wanting to be able to assign a category to a transfer, there is an existing Idea asking for that feature:

If you are wanting to be able to see transfers in your budget, that functionality already exists. In your budget, click the Manage Budget Categories button.

Then, click on Transfers In or Transfers Out (whichever is appropriate for the data you want included in your budget).

Select the appropriate transfer categories, then click OK. Please note that Transfers In will show as income in your budget and Transfers Out will show as expenses on your budget.
