Schwab buys/sells downloaded 2x
Has anyone else had an issue where buys/sells from Schwab get downloaded on day one and then again on day 2 for an identical transaction? This has started happening recently. It is easy to correct as it's obvious, but wondering if it's related to the latest release or something on Schwab's side.

Hello @dan.greenberg.ct,
To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Is there anything that seems to trigger the issue (for example, do the duplicate transactions download after the account has been deactivated/reactivated)? If you haven't done so already, please make the FITID column visible to verify if the duplicate transactions have the same FITID or if it's a unique value. To do this, near the lower right of the investment register, you should see a columns option. Click that and select FITID to make that column visible.
I look forward to your reply!

I saw this after month-end transactions hit. It had probably about 10 or so dups again that I cleared manually. Next time it happens, I'll do as you suggested and update. Thanks.

@Quicken Kristina this just happened again for a 7/1/2024 transaction. I've downloaded daily so the original was downloaded on 7/1 but the duplicate was downloaded this evening, 7/8. There was nothing unusual about what I did, just a normal one step update. I enabled the FTID. Looking at the Inspector, the 7/8 transaction shows a Date Modified of 7/8 but a Date Posted of 7/1. The original has a 7/1 for both fields.

Thank you for your reply,
Was the value in the FITID column identical for the originals and the duplicates?
If the value was not identical, that would indicate something happening on the financial institution side is causing this issue.
If the value was identical, then to narrow down whether this is something happening in your Quicken or on the financial institution side, please backup your Quicken file, then follow these steps:
- Deactivate the problem account(s).
- Add the account(s) as new by going to Accounts>Add Account and following the prompts.
- Do not link to the existing account(s). Add as new.
- Check to see if the behavior happens in the newly added account(s).
Please let me know how it goes!

The FITID was different between the original and the duplicate. I'll try as you suggest.
