Fidelity Express Web Connect+ Not updating
I'm using Windows quicken and see that my Fidelity accounts that are using Express Web Connect+ have not seen updates since 6/18. No errors being reported. These have been working for a long time and I have not made any changes to my setup (except for Quicken version updates). My Fidelity retirement accounts are setup with Direct Connect method and they still see updates. Suggestions? I see closed tickets like this in the past and the fix was to switch to Express Web connect but I have the opposite problem.

Your taxable brokerage accounts should be under the financial institution name "Fidelity Investments" and connect via Direct Connect.

To be clear… Fidelity brokerage accounts, IRA's I should use Fidelity Investments? For company 401K, HSA I should use Fidelity NetBenefits?
Don't use Fidelity Investments & Retirement option?

This is known issue that has several threads about it in this Community since about 6/25. An Alert has been posted about it at NEW 7/10/24 Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts FDP-101/CC-601. Note that the CC-601 error code does not affect everyone universally. Some others get a CC-506 error code while others get no error codes. Some will get a few new transaction downloads with others get no transactions downloading. For the credit card the Online Balance will have the correct dollar amount but it will be shown as a positive number instead of a negative number so reconciling to the Online Balance is not possible.
At present, the Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts setup is not working working for downloading investment accounts transactions nor the Fidelity Rewards Visa card transactions. It's saddening because it had been working so well for me since this past Feb.
For the Credit Card: Fidelity suggested to at least one user to use the Elan Financial Services download connection setup for now. I switched to Elan on 6/29 and it has been working well. I believe, most other users with this credit card posting about this issue in this community have also switched over to Elan and are pleased with it. The main issue with this is that after initially setting up this connection many are experiencing the cents being dropped from the Online Balance. But for most, if not all, this issue goes away with when doing OSU, again, later in the day or the next morning.
For Investment Accounts:
- For taxable brokerage and non-401K retirement accounts: Change the connection to Fidelity Investments via Direct Connect.
- For 401K retirement accounts: Change the connection to Fidelity NetBenefits via Direct Connect.

I changed to direct connect method. The transactions I had since 6/18 did were not added to registry, no errors during update. Were the transactions "lost" since I had the EWC+ and I will need to manually add them or should they have been added during the update?

I see on Update Summary that 3 accounts were updated as of 6/26/2024 so thank you it looks like Fidelity is not providing recent information.

EDITED.
I thought I was experiencing missing transactions, but they were actually there, already downloaded. It was the dates that confused me.
Fidelity Investments' web site shows a Date of 7/1/24 for a transaction which actually occurred on 6/28/24, for example. There were several such date mismatches. They confused me, but the account in Quicken is correct.

The merchant might not have sent the txn to their bank (and thus to Fidelity) until 7/1. This would be particularly true if the txn occurred after the bank had cut-off for the night.

I don't see a quicken QFX export in Fidelity anymore only CVS. I was hoping I could manually keep Quicken up to date while the direct connect is being fixed.

I do not recall Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts ever supporting QFX…it supports EWC+ downloads only. Maybe you are thinking of the old Fidelity Rewards Visa Card EWC connection which has been deactivated?
The Elan Financial Services download connection does support Web Connect (manually downloading/importing in QFX formatted file). I have used it and it works well. And it seems to me that most Fidelity Rewards Visa card holders are now downloading from Elan without issue instead of downloading from Fidelity.
But if you are going to go through the effort of setting up an account with Elan so you can use WC then you might want to set up the EWC connection with them so you can download during OSU instead of manually doing that. Downloads from Elan have been working well since 6/27…however, some have noted that with the initial download set up the cents are not present in the Online Balance. But run OSU later in the day or the next morning and this issue usually self resolves.
If you do not have an online account with Elan, yet, and wish to get one set up you can do so here:
