Subcategories and Colons

I was having serious issues with subcategories not allowed to be added and others showing up in the category list incorrectly. As an example, I added "Water" as a subcategory to "Utilities" and it would show up in the category list as "Utilities:Water" instead of "Water" being indented under "Utilities". When I wanted to select it in the register, it asked if I wanted to create a new category of "Water" and then popped up an error message saying it couldn't create it. This happened for several categories. I tried renaming and recreating categories and nothing helped. Validating the file came up clean except for correcting a couple of scheduled transactions that tried to use the affected categories.

I think I finally figured it out - there were colons in a couple of the Category Description fields. Once I removed those, everything started working as it should.
