When TreasuryDirect online access will be fixed for Windows?
Hello,
This was asked before many times, but all treads were closed, while the issue remains.
Today I spend another 30 min with Quicken support to show the issue, and after several attempts my account was locked, so I'll re try after 2-24H.
After providing login info and providing the code the setup fails, retry gives the same error.
It just goes in the loop by asking OTP code till the account gets locked.
BTW - I setup online access to my TreasuryDirect in another finance software just fine, that downloaded all my I and T Bills completely, but that tool doesn't use Intuit for the access , but some other service IMHO.
When Quicken will resolve access to TreasuryDirect issue?
thanks

Quicken isn't giving any error code.
Yes, I can login to my TD account via web browser just fine.
Before, it's long loop Quicken asking for OTP code, that was provided every time from new email, till I got the error about Quicken / Intuit account got locked
this is my process
type User and Password
insert OTP code

I wasn't aware that it was ever possible to download from Treasury Direct, but the presumed inability to do so has limited my direct purchases of US Governments. I understand their reluctance to support an automated interface, which may be what is keeping Quicken out, but a truly secure automated access would be good to have.

This has never worked in Quicken Windows and probably never will.
It was working for a time in Quicken Mac, but now even for it isn't working.

I have the same problem, in the same way as described above.
(Would you believe that I spend 1.5hrs with the support rep looking for data file corruptions, and who kept asking me to call "the bank" and whether I was adding a checking or savings account?)
Anyhow - Quicken needs to do something about this, even if it is a manually created screen scrape for this one financial institution - for gosh sakes, it the US GOVT TREASURY - not just any ol' local bank with a few hundred/thousand customers.
Hey Quicken - if you don't support TreasuryDirect, then take it off your list of financial institutions!!! and admit that you don't support it.
BTW - what is the "other" financial software that does properly support TreasuryDirect, I'm thinking hard about switching to it.1
