More Problems with US Bank
I have a VISA Card issued by US Bank and have downloaded transactions for many years. The last successful download was July 17th. Now, no transactions download and there are no error codes issued. The Account Name is US Bank Internet Banking using Express Web Connect +. This was switched from direct connect sometime last year and I have had no problems until now. Tried to deactivate and then activate online services and the problems still exists. Note: Direct Connect is not an option for US Bank.

Direct Connection IS an option for US Bank. I use it every day for all my accounts there. On the Quicken list of financial institutions, I am using the one labelled "US Bank - PFM Direct Connect". One of my accounts is a Visa card issued by US Bank.
A year+ ago US Bank sent out warning notices via Quicken that direct connect would be terminated in May 2023, but later they sent out new notices that in effect said "just kidding, we're keeping direct connect". I shifted to EWC+ on the first notices, then shifted back to direct connection when the "oops" notice was issued.

I've used Direct Connect the whole time … without problem.

Direct Connect IS NOT an option with my Quicken for US Bank; nor is "US Bank - PFM Direct Connect" on the list of Financial Institutions.
See the following attachment
I went to the US Bank Website and found the following connections options. It appears the Direct Connect is available, but only for $3.95/month.

The list of link options you see is initially incomplete. There is a second page. In the search box, type "US Bank - " and you'll get the link. Or, you could try out the scroll bar.
Yes, it costs $3.95/month. US Bank has always charged for direct connect. When I first signed up 30 years ago, it was $10/month.

@flybuoy, Try using the periods in the bank name, or using the scroll bar.
And yes, they charge for the use of DC …but their implementation of EWC is so flaky that I consider $3.95 (for my 5 accounts at USB) to be money well spent.

I think I have found the problem. I turned on 2 Factor Authentication for my credit card account with US Bank a few weeks ago. Apparently, this causes a problem with Express Web Connect + with US Bank. I turned off 2FA for my account and the transactions now download. I have 2FA on my Chase accounts and have had no problems at all.

As I said, EWC from USB is flaky.
