R58.8 Upgrading Users > Check Your Backup Settings

Updated to 58.8 today and in Preference>Backup, my automatic backup setting preferences are all erased. Image. This has happened occasionally during updates and happened again during R58.8 update. This time it effectively stopped all automatic backups.

Quicken should be respecting user backup settings during updates. "Report a problem" in-app if this applies to you.

    I also saw this problem after updating to R58.8.

    In my case the backup intervals were changed from 1/10/1 to 5/5/3

    I notice the dialog icons have been changed (and they say Quicken Inc doesn't try to make Quicken Windows modern 😉)

    And if my memory isn't fooling me, it all looks "smaller", which is of course the opposite of what a lot of Quicken users want.

    Interesting. Mine stayed. The 5/5/3 might be new, but those intervals are acceptable to me. No, I don't remember the settings prior to the R58.8
