This has been going on with Capital One for years. The correct online balance downloads immediately but the new transactions do not. This results in an error in auto-reconcile. Sometime later (1-5 days), the new transactions download. This is an ongoing cycle. Sometimes everything gets in synch and auto-reconcile succeeds. Then it starts again.
I think this is a Capital One issue. I have considered moving to a different bank because of the aggravations. I do not have this problem with any other financial institution connected to Quicken.
I had this problem with quicken for windows. I converted to quicken for Mac several months ago and the problem continues.
