MAC Mobile Sync - VG Mutual Funds

Hello,

When I update the mobile app at night at the end of the day prices are NOT updated. However, when I perform a desktop update first and then update the mobile app everything is synched.

My question is:

At the end of a trading day should the MAC mobile sync refresh Vanguard mutual fund prices independently without a desktop update? The mobile app accounts for new transactions, so I would think the app should also pick up the most up to date mutual fund prices.

The Mobile/Web apps should pick up the daily prices, provided that these are publicly traded securities. Securities that aren't publicly traded get updated by downloading from the financial institution, and since only the Desktop version of Quicken does that, only it can get those prices.

    Chris - Thanks.

Vanguard Mutual Funds (VTSAX) only updates on the mobile app after a desk top synch. Should this fund update automatically on the mobile app without a desk top synch?

That is a publicly traded security, it should update in mobile app without a sync from the Desktop. I have no idea why it wouldn't.
