Banner ( or Comment) Line in any account register/ledger

be able to enter a line in an account register that is solely a banner or comment that logs that some event happened.

i.e.

5/10/2024 account migrated to Schwab

or

1/1/2024 mortgage processing switched to Chase

    You can just put in a zero-amount transaction for that. But I guess you would want something that stands out.

    I find the Comment field on the General tab of Account Details is very useful for these kinds of notes.

    thanks guys. i use both but I think something that stands out would be a great enhancement.

    In that case, I think this idea is what might do the trick.

    Ability to highlight a transaction in color — Quicken

    EDIT: note since it is already marked as Planned you can't vote on it, but maybe a comment in that thread to remind them they should actually implement it might be in order.
