I am having the same problem except I am using Quicken Classic Deluxe for Mac for MacOS 14.6, Version 7.8.2. I have 3 accounts with USAA that all used to work on Quicken until some point within the last year. The connections were broke on all of them but I was able to recover 2 of the account connections. However, Quicken can’t find and doesn’t see the third account. Like Sampenguin, I have tried deactivating & reactivating the accounts, resetting, deleting third party apps from the USAA side, etc., but nothing works. I, too, am having to manually administer this account because Quicken has failed. From reviewing various sites, blogs, and other discussions on this forum, it appears Quicken is aware and has been aware of this problem for quite some time. I’m wondering why this hasn’t been fixed or at least whyn there are no regular updates that indicate if they have identified the problem and what action is being taken to reolve the problem?

    Hello @myownsense,

To help troubleshoot this issue, please answer the following questions:

    • Has there been any activity in the account in the last 90 days?
    • Is the account considered an external account (i.e. are you redirected to a different website when selecting the account on the bank's website)? If so, what URL are you redirected to?
    • Is the account a subtype of a different account?
    • Has the bank made any recent changes to its website or sign-in process?
    • Are you the owner of the account?

I look forward to your reply!

These are my answers the following questions:

    • Has there been any activity in the account in the last 90 days? Yes. It is a savings account with a substantial balance. There are at least monthly interest earnings that are deposited to the account, if not other activity moving funds between this and other accounts.
    • Is the account considered an external account (i.e. are you redirected to a different website when selecting the account on the bank's website)? If so, what URL are you redirected to? No. It is listed on my account summary page with my other two accounts and I can access it and all transaction detail, statements, etc. on the main sign-on website.
    • Is the account a subtype of a different account? No. My 3 accounts are checking, savings, and credit card (Amex). No issue with either the savings account or the credit card (Amex) account. The savings account is the one that Quicken doesn’t see.
    • Has the bank made any recent changes to its website or sign-in process? No.
    • Are you the owner of the account? Yes.

    Thank you for your reply,

If the only activity within the last 90 days was interest payments, you may want to check with USAA to see if the account did get marked as dormant.

If there have been other transactions (such as transfers between accounts), then I suggest you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance, as they have access to tools that we on the Community can't access, and they're able to escalate the issue, if needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.

I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
