Automatic backups not running

I have Automatic Backups set to run every 1 time, and Manual Reminder set to every 3 times. Neither are working. When I close Quicken, it just closes with no backup or prompt to run back up.

What version are you running? This issue was addressed in an earlier release.

I apply updates whenever prompted upon opening Quicken; the app updated when I opened it today.

    Hello @Kabboroo,

To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Do you make any manual backups without being prompted? What file location do your automatic backups go to? How many automatic backups for your file are currently in that location? Do you keep your Quicken file on your local hard drive? Is it synced with any cloud services (such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox)?

I look forward to your response!

It has happened the last Sunday and yesterday (Sunday). I tested it again yesterday, so three times it has failed to backup or prompt me to run backup.

As shown in the image, I have it set to automatically back when closing every time I am in Quicken and to prompt me every 3rd session. It is doing neither.

Yes, when Quicken just closes without backing up, I reopen the app and manually run backup.

    How do you close Quicken?
It's been my understanding that exiting Quicken using a function or command other than clicking the red "X" in the upper right hand corner of the Quicken window will bypass backups and syncing.

I close Quicken by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I called technical support and they know it's broken and not working. They said it would be fixed in an upcoming release but so far, they have not fixed it.
