Quicken Product Upgrade
Hard to believe in this automated world that if a guy wanted to move from his current subscription to Quicken Deluxe (been a user well over 30 years) and move over to the Quicken - Business and Personal product It should be easy to credit me for the reminder of my Deluxe subscription and then apply that credit to the full purchase price of the B & P product.
The Quicken agent tried his best to arrange that but, "Nope - Headquarters Says No" Now I have to wait till April of 2025 to get it. A missed profit opportunity and a die-hard user disappointed. Damn!

Usually they won't cancel the existing subscription and apply it to a new one; instead, they'll sell you a new one at full cost, and extend its duration to apply the unused cost of your current one.
If you have the patience, I would try again with Quicken Support. As with all companies, different support representatives sometimes come through with different resolutions to an issue.

@jacobs is correct. You can upgrade at any time and have it take effect immediately. The remainder of your current subscription will be prorated and added to the end of your new upgraded subscription.
To upgrade you do not need to contact Quicken Support. You can do it from within Quicken or you can log into your online Quicken.com account and do it there. You only need to contact Quicken Support if you are encountering an issue completing the upgrade.
Downgrading is different and the current subscription will need to run out before the downgrade can take effect.
