EAST WEST BANK business bridge premiere downloads not working
I have an EAST WEST BANK account that I access through its "Business Bridge Premiere" site. I do not find this option available from quicken. How do I download transactions into quicken?

Hello @jyg911,
When I check, I can see a few connection options with East West Bank:
Have you tried connecting using any of these options? If so, what is happening when you try to connect?
I look forward to your response!

it does not allow me to connect. "the business bridge premier" is the login on the website. it requires 4 entries:
1. Enter Company ID
2. User ID
3. Password
4. Language

Thank you for your reply,
When I check our FIDIR (list of supported financial institutions), the logon URL you provided is associated with this connection option: MetroBank, NA CM QK.
I'd recommend trying this connection option.
Please let me know how it goes!

It connected and downloaded the current online balance, but not prior transactions for the past month, days. I will see if it does download future transactions now that it is connected. I will update this post when there are further transactions.

Hi Kristina, my east west account says that it connects, but it no longer updates the current online balance correctly. the online balance showing from quicken is the same one as originally downloaded. The last download shows the my current time I tried to update the account but there are no updates that quicken retrieves (although other transactions have posted on the EWbank online website)

still no updating, although top of window on EW bank says "last download Aug 9, 2024 12pm (express web connect)"

Thank you for your replies,
Since it's acting like it's connected, but no transactions are downloading, I recommend following the troubleshooting in this article on missing transactions/transactions not downloading:
Be sure to follow these steps in order:
- Go to Edit > Preferences > Downloaded Transactions. The option Automatically add to banking registers needs to be unchecked.
- Refresh your online account information by clicking the Actions Gear Icon on the upper right of the register, and select Update Now. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
- Confirm that the Sort Order in your account is by Date; just click the top of the Date column in your account register. It's possible the transactions are in your register, but not where you thought they'd be.
- Click the Reset button at the top of the register. This will confirm that there's no filtering in your account register.
- Go to Actions (Gear Icon) > Register Columns > Check Downloaded Payee in the account register. This allows you to search by Payee to confirm the transactions haven't been renamed unexpectedly.
- Go to Tools > Account List and check Show Hidden Accounts at the bottom left. Confirm the missing transactions haven't been added to a hidden account by clicking on the name of any account that appears with a check mark in the Hidden column.
If the issue isn't resolved after following the troubleshooting above, and this is not a one-time event, please reach out to Quicken Support.
I hope this helps!

Hi Kristina,
I see pending transactions on the EW bank account, but the pending transactions do not move over to the downloaded side even after several days. It just remains there. The pending transactions are accurate, but do not move over to the downloaded column.

Thank you for your reply,
To clarify, do you mean you see the pending transactions on the financial institution website, but they don't download into Quicken? Do they download once they're showing as posted (on the financial institution website)?
Thank you!

The pending transactions are downloaded to Quicken's pending section tab on the EW bank, and are reflective on the EW Bank website. The transactions on EW bank shows posted, usually the next day. Quicken seems to retrieve the pending transactions, but it does not move over to the downloaded transactions side of the tab the following day (s), but remains on the pending side although it has posted on the bank's website for several days already.

Thank you for your reply,
Sometimes there can be some delay between when the financial institution marks a transaction posted and when they send that information to Quicken. That said, if this has been persisting for longer than a week, I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance as they can walk you through troubleshooting steps in real-time and escalate the situation as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
