Problem with my connection to my Capital One Credit Card

Issue Started: August 10, 2024
Bank Issue: Capital One Credit Card

Starting on 8/10 I could not download transactions from my Capital One Credit Card Account. When I went into account details to reset the connection I started getting the following error now matter what I did.

"Quicken is having trouble connecting to Capital One Card Services"

The Screenshot 2 image shows that Capital One is validating and accepting the connection.

No matter what I try I can't get this connection to work again.

Can you please help me get this working?

    I have the same issue. Started for me around August 4th using Quicken for Mac. Capital One credit card transaction downloads haven't worked since.

    Same problem. The last transactions from Capital One Card Services that were cleared using One Step Update are from 8/6/24.

    This has been a problem for at least a week now.

    Our Product and Development teams don't give us ETAs. I recommend bookmarking the Community Alert I linked earlier to get updates, when available, and know when the issue is resolved.

    My Venture X downloads work again! It appears the issue has been resolved :-)

    What's the latest update on Capital One downloads? It now says "Account linking is currently unavailable." I have used Quicken for well over 20 years but this problem is about to break me of the habit. It seems every time you fix 1 bug you create another one.

    To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. Which connection option are you trying to use?

       

    What type of account are you trying to add/reconnect (Checking, Savings, Credit Card, Loan, etc.)? At what point in the process are you encountering that error message? If possible, please provide a screenshot of the error, with any personal information redacted. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
