Why are old memorized payees still appearing on my calendar’s list of memorized payees?

Sorry, I tried to post this under Questions but I was not able to select a Category. Without a selected category, I'm unable to post my question. This was the only place that did not have that requirement.

When I look at my list of memorized payees, none of them have a check mark for Show on Calendar. Also, the memorized payees listed on the calendar do not appear in the list of memorized payees’ window. Because they do not appear in the memorized payees window, I’m unable to delete them. The list of memorized payees on the calendar list are very old payees. I did set the option to delete payees that have not been used in 1 month. They still appear on the calendar list of memorized payees.

    Hello @S Brown,

We are currently having an issue regarding categorization in the Quicken Community.

To start with, I suggest that you please try validating and/or super validating your data file. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    Validate:

    1. File
    2. Validate and Repair File...
    3. Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate.Super Validate:

    1. File
    2. Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
    3. Super Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

    I hope this helps!
