Validate Report to display transactions at issue

I just ran Validate and the output include the following

QEL:
Found 14 downloaded transactions in XXX Checking that matched cleared transactions. No action is necessary.
Found 14 downloaded transactions that had already been entered. No action is necessary.

All well and good, but what good is the output? How does it save me any time or improve the accuracy of my account ledger? At the very least, those transactions should be listed in the report. Even better, Quicken should mark these downloaded transactions for deletion.
