Tenant rent has been increased-where/how do I modify this in Quicken

I have increased the rent on a tenant but I cannot figure out where/how to make this change in Quicken. When I entered the new amount today it just showed that the tenant overpaid. Thanks

Hello @NikWhit,
To answer your question, when the rent changes, you can update it by going to the Rental tab, click on the Properties & Tenants dropdown, and select Show Tenant List.
Once you have the Tenant List open, click the name of the tenant to select them, then click the Edit button (near the bottom center of the window).
That will bring up the Edit Rental Property Tenant window. In that window, make the appropriate edits, then click OK.
For more information about updating rent details, please review this article.
I hope this helps!
