How Do I display the Tag Description in a Report?

Question

I'm a long-time Quicken Classic (Windows) user, and have been using Tags for years. I have a report I would like to create that shows transactions filtered by Tag, and in the Collapsed view would like the Tag Description to display. I have entered the appropriate descriptions to each Tag, but can't find a way to get them to display on the report. Any suggestions?

Just out of curiosity … what kind of Tag Descriptions are you using? Isn't the Tag Name itself descriptive enough? Would you mind giving us an example or two?

In Edit / Preferences / Reports only there are two selection boxes for Accounts and Categories, to show Name or Description or Both.

But the same selection box for Tag Names and Descriptions is absent.

Looks to me like, if you want this feature to be added to Quicken that posting an Idea would be in order.

You can get the Txn description to show, but I'm not aware of any way to get the Tag description to be shown in a report other than printing the Tag List.
