Return of Capital transaction amount not appearing in 2024?
Very strange thing I just noticed. I had a Return of Capital transaction for $2.99 in February 2023. This is correctly reflected in the balance sheet for my Brokerage account in 2023. But when I run the balance sheet for 2024, the amount of this transaction is not shown in my Brokerage account balance. Don't understand why it would be excluded in 2024, any ideas?

Are you saying that the Cash Amount, in that account, is low by $2.99? When you scroll back to 2/28/23, is the transaction still there?

yes, it is very weird, this only happens in a balance sheet report. It is in the actual ledger. And it appears in the 2023 balance sheet. But for some reason changing the date to 2024 and the 2.99 isn't reflected in the balance sheet report for this brokerage account.

I'm curious: If you change the Date Range from Yearly to 2/1/2023-1/31/2024 does this issue still exist?
What about if the date range is from 2/1/2023-9/17/2024?

interesting that when using the dates you suggest the problem doesn't occur.

This sounds like a bug that's somehow related to the date range that is selected. You might want to report it to Quicken via Help > Report a Problem. Provide a brief description of the issue and copy/paste the URL for this thread in it so they can easily see what the issue is.
