I'm using a Mac Version of Quicken Version 7.9.1 (Build 709.54540.100) so this may not apply to everyone.
What I've discovered is the first time (and only the first time) I create a new Buy transaction in an account registry for SWVXX Schwab Value Advantage Money Fund® Investor Shares Quicken inserted an exact opposite transaction at the end of my registry with a date like 1999.
Example: I created a BUY transaction for 3400 Shares @ $1.00 of SWVXX on today's date. At the same time a SELL for 3400 shares but with @ $0 amount was created in 1999. Leaving me with nothing.
So when I looked at the Portfolio View there was no trace of SWVXX because anything I added was canceled out.
The simple solution: Just delete the auto generated Sell at the end. I know this sounds so stupid but it works. The original Buy shows up and all subsequent reinvested dividends have been download and recorded successfully.
