Constant Required Re-authorization from Credit Union
One credit union with which I have three accounts in Quicken is the only institution that requires re-authorization every time an update is run. A dialog box that first appears states that a re-authorization is required and gives the option of 'remind me later' if I wish to continue to update accounts at other institutions. Typically I will complete the re-authorization then restart the update, the request for re-authorization dialog appears which I ignore, moving on to update all other institutions.
This Credit Union does have secondary verification, but so does other institutions and only this credit union has this re-authorization issue. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to solve it?

I seem to have been able to resolve a persistent reauthorization issue by doing this:
- Deactivate all CU bank accounts that you have. For each account go into Edit Account Details, Online Services tab, click Deactivate.
- Create a backup of your data file.
- Stop Quicken, wait a few seconds and restart Quicken
- Use Tools / Add Account or click the "+" icon in the Account Sidebar Title line to pretend to add new accounts.
- Select your CU from the list.
- Follow the prompts to add your accounts. At some point in time your browser will open and you will be directed to an authorization webpage at your CU, including userID and password prompts and possibly a 2FA code on your cell phone. Complete the authorization procedure to include all your CU accounts. When complete, you will be redirected back to a window within Quicken … this might take a few seconds. If it doesn't switch automatically, switch back to Quicken yourself. The browser window can now be closed.
You should now be authorized to use Quicken to download transactions.
Unless you switch data files between computers or constantly access the Internet from different WiFi services, you should not get prompted again and again.

Sorry for the delay in getting back. The CU is Benchmark Federal Credit Union.

I have another issue with all of my accounts which might be solved with deactivating/reactivating. That being, Quicken is reporting wildly high available credit amounts. I DO have credit limits set for all the credit cards in Quicken. I perform routine account updates to keep transactions current in the registers. Checked against the actual bank statements, the downloaded registers are accurate. But the available credit amount are always very high. This only started a few months ago. Its as if Quicken is not using these set limits versus the charges to the cards.

Thank you UKR for this solution. Both my savings and VISA accounts at the San Francisco Federal CU had become disconnected on 08/01/24. I tried your solution and it worked for me, but only partially. It brought all my transactions up to date for my savings account but my VISA account remains disconnected. The last VISA transaction was on 07/31/24. Nothing seems to work to reconnect it.
