Creating a Sub Category

I have asked Quicken to correct this issue several times with no success. I create sub-categories all the time and it is so annoying because it does not behave the same way as when you are searching for a category to charge to a transaction. When I search on the category that I want to be the main category, you cannot just type in the letters like you do when you are searching for a category. For instance, if you wanted a sub category of Insurance, and you start entering the word insurance in the category, it will take you to the I's to start with, but when you enter the n as in insurance, it takes you to the categories beginning with an n. So, you end up having to scroll all the way through the categories to find insurance. Can you please fix this???
